Hi there!
I am so excited to teach your child! A little about me... I am 33 years old and I live in Lockport with my Fiance and our Cat Arminius (armi - pictured below). I love to cook and spend time with my family and my step daughter on the weekends (picture below). This is my 10th year in the district. I spent my first year as a student teacher and substitute at Reed School. The next year I was lucky enough to be offered a job at Ludwig where I taught for 4 years. I then moved to teach at Walsh and this is my 6th year in this classroom! I have my undergraduate degree from Eastern Illinois University in Elementary Education and Special Education and my Graduate degree from Northeastern Illinois University where I received my Behavior Intervention Specialist and Curriculum Adaption Specialist degrees. I am currently going to Ball State University to receive my Board Certified Behavior Analyst certificate or BCBA. As we take on this school year please know that i realize that your families are going through challenges due to the current state of things. I am here to assist you and your child in any way i can as we navigate this school year. Please feel free to reach out with any concerns, suggestions, or even if you just need to talk. We will make it through this together! |
